I've been watching Tracy work on this book for a long time, back from when it was just some sketches and notes in her notebook. It's really a labour of love and it totally comes through. Super excited and proud to see it all over place, on shelves at various startups.
Everyone should have a copy. Even if you're not touching frontend development, the principles will give you more appreciation...

Very cute, would be nice if URLs were actually linked. I'd be tempted to promote our related product (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/the-thousand-ether-homepage). ;)
On second look, this is actually very close to the leaderboard on https://merrymerkle.com/, pretty neat!

Thanks for sharing this, Nadia! Max and I released our little experiment this week. It has been super interesting to build. The ad buying experience truly *feels* like magic, even if we ignore all the blockchain-y stuff.
Happy to answer questions! Also we put together an FAQ here: https://thousandetherhomepage.com/faq/

We've been experimenting with a bunch of different ideas and features—most of them you can enable/disable in the extension's "options". We launched a Reddit-focused extension last month but this release embraces all of the social networks that we support.
I also just published a related post which...

I've been mostly sitting in the next room while Tracy has been writing her book for more than a year now, one of my favourite stories is how Tracy was trying to work with a traditional publisher originally—and even got some offers. The rates were pretty abysmal, though. Something like $8K and 5% royalties.
Instead, Tracy decided to go the Kickstarter route and raised $12K (a bit less after...

Hey everyone, I made Briefmetrics.
I actually used to work on Google Analytics at Google for a while. One of the big frictions was that people would neglect signing in to check their stats, or navigating the frontend would just take too much effort (over 30 clicks to get the equivalent of a Briefmetrics report).
My goal is to provide opinionated analytic—highlight the parts that are...
