Interesting app with some attractive UI. Safe to assume there is no relationship to the old Doo app: http://tech.eu/news/doo-dead/ . While I could understand the naming of that old app given the fact English was not the developers' first language, I question the use of this name by a company based in NYC. Where I come from, "doo" is another word for excrement. As in, "Aw man, I just stepped in...
