I would launch dictozo.com again after 2 years of fixing and starting on the marketing front and growing my twitter audience.

You need to come out of your lala land and think from multiple perspectives to grow, even if it requires crashing everything. Had I done this with Dictozo.com it could have 100K users now. I always cared about making it perfect before telling to people.
What have you learned the most from failure?

Discount is an illusion for me. Product maker's got a price in mind and decided to put a double price tag. A product worth 40$ got a price tag of 70$ and over that, you get 50% off. So eventually you pay 35$.. which was the exact price in the maker's mind. Win win for both
Discounts: yes or nah?

I liked testimonials. co very much as a product but then I saw the pricing. I guess I have to back on emails.
How do you get testimonials for your product?

I build dictozo.com Because I was not good at English and keep forgetting the words even after recalling them. So I build this chrome extension to keep highlighting the words over every website (with meaning) i visit once I save them. Now dictozo is doing the same for 115 languages. Unluckily I don't see it is a good market and anybody would pay for it so i didn't market.
What was your 1st product and why did you decide to build it?

It depends on the product itself. some of my product took more than 2 years some 2 days.
How long did it take to build your first product?

Also subscribe option is only for ship, and for that we makers need to pay 70 USD, the amount is way more for developing countries, so there are many products who never got the chance because of missing parity. .

This looks so promising. "I have launched but now what??? PH has nothing to offer after that", this line always remains a question. Not much but I guess there are many people like you who can help us. If there will be a feature to follow up afterwards, it would be game changing in my opinion.

I'd really appreciate if you describe a little about app in paragraph itself rather than just sharing a link.

There is nothing wrong in providing paid apps. Actually it depends on the niche your app is targeting. If it is targeting entertainment, there are plenty of free apps available. Narrowed to 2 questions: - Do you offer trial / basic free plan in your app? - Have you validated the market whether people willing to pay for this ? - I'd personally like to try things first before I'd pay for...
Paid vs Freemium model, which one you chose for your app and why?

Many struggle at this. I'd suggest to put each and every activity on twitter, indiehackers etc and keeps on doing that with no pause. People will inquire itself. Post with milestones. Anyways you always have the option of paid promotions.
We had an awesome Product Hunt Launch.... Now What?
