I agree with your points. I've always though for most people university is waste of time. I guess though, it really depends. I never graduated from university but I did go for a few years. Didn't stop me from being able to write software in my underwear for over 14 years professionally. At the end of the day it's drive and consistency that win the race.
Is a university degree still worth it if you're building a business?

The whole forcing TikTok to sell seems silly. If it does get banned something else will take it's place. Makes you realize you shouldn't be all in on any one platform.

Chrome, Brave, Edge, really all the same thing under the hood, just with different skins and a few different features. Brave would be my choice, it's like Chrome but less bad. I've ran Firefox for a long time too, still a great browser with great features, I wouldn't worry that much about the privacy policy change.

I'm also a developer. Not sure non-technical people are at an advantage, but the playing field is more even now than it was. If your project takes off and you use no code, you will likely have to spend real considerable time recoding the app or you will be locked into that no code vendor forever, which can obviously cause major problems. If you use AI to generate your code but have no idea what...

Should it be banned? Probably not. In my mind AI coding is really only for junior and low skill developers. As a senior level developer I find very little use for it.It's basically only good for a few small tasks like translating lists into formatted code or reformatting some code, and that's about it. I have found AI code quite inaccurate. I find it's probably faster and easier for me to just...

In my experience you just really need something basic. Trello, Asana, JIRA are all more than capable. For personal projects I tend to just use Trello.

I think AI is really overblown currently. It's giant bubble. What makes you think AI will take over? I see very little value in the current AI landscape. We see big tech companies trying to build stuff with AI but it's just not interesting or useful most of the time. AI is still terrible at so much and can't be trusted in many applications. If old people can teach you anything it's that they...
