I built this while exploring low friction ways to get to great content. I wanted to spend less time aimlessly scrolling through Twitter/Facebook, but still have a way to find great longform. I also was amused by the idea of building a consumer facing web product that didn't have its own (meaningful) web presence. This was a quick hack, but I would love to hear what people think!

Pinoccio is building cool wireless microcontrollers that talk to each other (via a radio mesh) and to a web API (via wifi) - they make it super easy to build "internet of things" projects with just a few lines of javascript.

@ReubenMetcalfe so far, we have commitments from both startups and universities. We are hoping to add data from government sources and (a bit of a long shot) from banks as well.
