Nothing new here, I've seen apps doing this years ago. Even some taking it to the next level where you had to pay around $10 to develop the pictures and get them delivered before you can see them (WhiteAlbum, hunted here 2 years ago https://www.producthunt.com/posts/whitealbum-2)
