As a maker, I often find myself attached to my product, seeing potential where others might not yet. When it comes to validating these ideas, I've noticed that my own biases can lead me to ask the wrong questions or interpret feedback in a skewed manner. How do you combat your own confirmation bias during idea validation? When your initial validators are friends or peers, the feedback might be sugar-coated. How do you get genuine, critical feedback?
