We're taking on a new challenge now with the new iPhone version, there's also a new music locker service we're introducing called LOOP. Its inside the app :) So besides the long-awaited iOS version of the Mac music player, we're also debuting our cloud-based music locker...

VOX for Mac is available at the Mac App Store now (version 2.1 with SoundCloud integration). Spotify/Rdio are at the list of integration for the nearest updates. About "music that's saved within" - of course, you can create your own playlist with your saved music or use your iTunes library. VOX for iOS will be available this Autumn.
