Apple has been adding a lot of power to the Xcode simulator over the last few years, but they haven't been doing a great job making that power accessible. Sim Genie is what I wish the Xcode simulator did: focus that power on the workflows we run into every day and helping us speed them along.
For example: getting screenshots and app preview videos ready for the App Store can be quite annoying...

2.5 is a huge update with *lots* of polish. It's trying to make using Slopes easier across the board. Simple things like making it easy to find that trip to Whistler from 3 seasons ago (search is something no winter sports or fitness app tackles). Or better integration with HealthKit to let you pull your weight for calorie estimates form there automatically.
