Donated 50 trees from earnings π³
I've reached the milestone of donating 50 trees from my Gumroad earnings of my E-book, each tree was gifted to a buyer, so they received a nice E-card with a thank you :)
For visualisation, here are 50 trees:

Why you should start with tiny products
I didn't start with 10 years of experience in the industry or by being genius. I started by exploring. It is the path that we take which is the interesting part in life, not the end of the road.
When I first thought about Open Startup List, it was from pure interest in learning, and thinking broad and "out of the box".
When I set out to build the idea, while other similar sites existed, it...

It depends. For my E-book Start With A Side-Project I'm delivering great value for what I ask for, so I decided to charge for it. Now it's even on AppSumo https://appsumo.com/marketplace-start-with-a-side-project/
If your goal is to build an audience and this is not the main product on your line, then consider giving away for free. If you don't plan ahead with upselling another product and...

Got accepted to AppSumo!!! π
Yesterday I saw the great numbers Andrew Kamphey posted of his product: BetterSheets, which stemmed from the exposure he got from AppSumo. That's when I decided to give it a shot and submitted my ebook (https://gum.co/side-project) to AppSumo.
It was a long shot as their acceptance rate is only around 5%.
I woke up today and saw an email from AppSumo's team, saying that I got accepted and...

Hey guys, I've finished writing the initial draft of my first eBook - https://gum.co/side-project
I will be launching it later this month, currently going into copy-editing phase.
So far over 10+ people have put their trust and interest in me and pre ordered! Which is very rewarding.
Looking forward to the launch and any feedback is welcome :)

Should I also sell on Amazon?
I'm writing my first eBook about micro-entrepreneurship that's called Start With A Side-Project - https://gum.co/side-project.
So far I'm only offering it on Gumroad, I actively promote it since I'm a first-time author so I don't expect to be recommended by Gumroad.
How does the discoverability on Amazon works? Will I have to put efforts promoting it there as well? I might as well just focus...

Sold my side-project
It's been 3 months since I launched my side-project: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/open-startup-list
Recently it's been acquired :)
While the project didnβt generate income, it did get a lot of attention, an increasing subscriber base, and a strong domain authority, all of which while growing completely organic. The potential is high and itβs at a great starting point.
I'm currently...
