I am an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist who likes working on projects that try to make the world a better place. My thing is focusing on projects where you can do "good" while doing "well". 10 years ago I founded Rise Capital to focus on investing in purpose-driven companies led by underrepresented founders in Emerging Markets, and am proud of the fact that we have become one of the most respected firms in this niche. Recently I founded Sol, the world's first spiritual wellness super-app, to try and solve the world's "happiness epidemic" (we humans are wealthier than ever, yet human happiness is at an all-time low and things like teen suicide are at an all-time high).
