About
I am an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist who likes working on projects that try to make the world a better place. My thing is focusing on projects where you can do "good" while doing "well". 10 years ago I founded Rise Capital to focus on investing in purpose-driven companies led by underrepresented founders in Emerging Markets, and am proud of the fact that we have become one of the most respected firms in this niche. Recently I founded Sol, the world's first spiritual wellness super-app, to try and solve the world's "happiness epidemic" (we humans are wealthier than ever, yet human happiness is at an all-time low and things like teen suicide are at an all-time high).

Is LinkedIn slowly dying?
I would bet if a REAL competitor was born that kept all the good things about LI, and replaced the shi&&y things about LI with innovative great ones, we would all leave LI in a heartbeat! Am I right?! Every single person that I speak to about this agrees. They would even pay a tiny subscription to keep it void of silly algors that cater to fluff, authentically business/networking focused and void of spam .so there is a market for it. The user experience is awful too. Who s gonna build this & save us all?? Do I see some people with their hands up?
🔥Luckily, our product (Picurious) won #2🔥 place in yesterday's launch. What did we do right?🔥
Hello everyone, After nearly three months of hard work, our product was launched yesterday and achieved #2 place, which was a huge surprise to us. We never thought we would reach such a result. To sum up, here are a few points to share: 1. Prepare as early as possible, speak up and vote in the PH community, make more friends. 2. Express as much goodwill as possible, help others, don't reject any friendly person, and provide value to others with your abilities as much as you can. 3. Start warming up among friends one or two weeks before the launch, promote product trials, accumulate some users as much as possible, collect their feedback, improve the product, and make these early users very satisfied. 4. On the day of the launch, push your friends to support as quickly as possible. You must get as high a ranking as possible within the first 4 hours, which will help attract a wave of neutral users. 5. Stay enthusiastic during the launch, reply to all comments as promptly as possible, reward excellent comments, and post them on social media. That's it, I believe effort will be rewarded. Also, our friends, could you spare a little time to write a review for our product? Any words will do, as long as you find it valuable. https://www.producthunt.com/prod... or just support for us? https://www.producthunt.com/post...
