We have a plan in place for user acquisition with a focus on areas of natural real-world communities. We are also exploring strategic partnerships within the creative and art worlds that will help us explore specialized uses for Shortwave.

I should mention that we are working furiously at an update that will let users know how their posts fare out in shortwave. (But more on that when we get closer to launch!)

It is definitely a challenge. We've received a lot I questions about how individuals can talk to each other. Although some have expressed disappointment over a lack of direct communication, many others have created their own systems to have short term conversations using signatures (or reusing them!). Hi Ryan, Thanks for the warm welcome! We created shortwave to explore relationships between people and physical spaces. We basically want to create a conversation between an individual and the individuals surroundings.
