What's up Podcast Hunters! We're kicking off a new podcast on early-stage startups, and thought it would be fun to start with an analysis of a fake, but super-entertaining startup: the "Kickstarter-meets-Periscope" app in the movie "Nerve". (Coming out in a couple weeks!)
You can check out our introduction to the podcast on Medium...

Fosco! This awesome. I unfortunately spent the last 3 weeks moving a bunch of Parse stuff to Firebase, but this is tempting to move back...how fast is it? How well does it integrate with Cloud Code/AfterSaves, etc.? Is there a "request limit"?

Yo @ikirigin, this looks pretty cool. I'm interested that you chose to focus on contact info optimization to start, particularly given your history at Dropbox. I've wondered for the last few years—what are the "secrets" of top-caliber growth teams? What do you know that most of us don't?
Given this product is YesGraph's flagship, is this a hint that the key to a good invite flow is surfacing...

And, as a last piece of info, if anyone wants some insight into the under-the-hood tech details of making a lock-screen-only iPhone app, we did a write-up here:

What's up Product Hunt! One of the makers of Streak here. In case our catchy one-line tagline doesn't quite make sense to you, it's a trivia game with two unique features:
—You can play the entire game from your phone’s lock screen.
—There’s only one game each day, at 11PT/2ET, and everyone plays at once.
Basically, you're trying to get as many true or false questions right in a row as...

I'm a little confused by the installation model — I was asked by my phone whether I was willing to trust an "untrusted developer." I can tell this isn't working through the app store, so how does the app "install" on my phone?

Thanks @andrewjiang. We're really excited about the future of reading on phones and always felt like it was missing the ease of following your favorite writer in the olden times of newspapers and magazines. Also we think a messaging style interface is the best way to discuss stories with your friends.
Would love any feedback, and we're super excited to hear from the great design/...
