I am regularly the recipient of data files which contain upwards of 20,000,000 rows and these simply cannot be opened for analysis in Excel with it's 1,048,576 row per sheet limit. I initially found a simple program online to split data files into multiple smaller data files, but this still involved manually copying the many data into separate new sheets in a single Excel spreadsheet.
