I use IntelliJ daily and will sometimes hop on VS Code for some projects. The startup I work for builds developer tools and has plugins for the popular IDE's and many other applications!
We are actually launching on Product Hunt tomorrow and we'd appreciate any support and feedback we can get!

Working on https://pieces.app in the developer tools space and we have to really be super particular in how we build since our customers are developers themselves. They are the best users to have because they will let you know if things are not good enough and really lets us iterate our products very quickly.
We are also launching on Product Hunt tomorrow! We'd appreciate any support and...

I honestly think that it all starts at UX.
If you understand the ins and outs of UX and start building with UX in mind from day 1, you're product will be lightyears ahead of those who have to go back and refactor their entire product because it has a terrible UX.
Is UX the new can't-ignore skill?

I almost always have music playing just in general. Very music oriented but whenever I'm in office is usually when I don't just because we have a very collaborative office space
Do you listen to music/white noise etc. while working or do you prefer working in silence?

Hey Sandra!
Whenever I pitch anything, I always think of what I'm saying and my slide deck as harmonizing throughout the pitch. So the info on my slide deck should support what I'm saying, not repeat what I'm saying. There might be moments where you want to emphasize a point, in which you should then have what you're saying be on the slide deck to hammer that point home.
Do you have any advices for live pitching?

I think building a community around your product before your launch is key. That way, you are already close with users that use your product and can really drive your launch to the top!
How do you build excitement for a product launch?

I think lifetime deals should only be offered during an MVP/early-stage product. Once you get your product to a beta+ version, you should find other routes for monetization than one-time purchases.
What is your opinion on lifetime deals?

We are in the process of launching our own Discord server which, imo, is the best way to get as close as possible with your users. We are building a community around our product through Discord and the instant feedback that we are able to get on ideas/releases is game-changing.
How to collect and use feedback after a product launch to improve future releases?
