This is my journey of launching 8 Products on Product Hunt when I was building in private. I joined Product Hunt on 1st Oct 2016 I have launched 8 products on Product Hunt so far. Below are the details on those Launches. I wasn't active on Twitter. 1. Opin Network (a Like-Minded Social Network) - Launched on 26 Mar 2017. Got 17 Upvotes. 2. Money: Portfolio Tracker - Launched on 2nd Oct 2018. Got 3 Upvotes. 3. One Dashboard - Launched on 27 Apr 2020. Got 32 Upvotes. 4. Guess Up - Launched on 29 Dec 2020. Got featured on the Homepage. Got 142 Upvotes. 5. KidoBook - Launched on 24 Aug 2021. Got 22 Upvotes. 6. 1Profile - Launched on 24 Jan 2022. Got 22 Upvotes. 7. InternetWalls - Launched on 27 May 2022. Got 17 Upvotes. 8. QuickFloat - Launched on 7 July 2022. Got 38 Upvotes. You can see all of my launches did not perform well. Why? Because I was building them in private and without any feedback from users. When I launch I was just posting links to Twitter to my 5 followers without any hashtags. I am launching my new Product on Product Hunt nearly after 1 year. You don't need to build your platform with payment methods to start a digital business. Got an idea for an ebook? Got an idea for Notion Templates, or Frontend Templates? Want to sell some digital services? I would recommend you look into 2 great platforms for that. 1. Lemon Squeezy - My favorite and one of the best. you don't need to code anything. you can set up your product page in a min and it will have a page with payment options ready for you. 2. Gumroad - OG in this category. Gumroad is probably the simplest platform that enables you to sell your digital content/service without any code. Don't just think about something, act on it!!
