Customer research for sure. We ran surveys and user interviews - I honestly found the interviews to be the most valuable. Asking the right questions to the right people will unveil everything!

We just wrapped up beta testing, and I found the negative feedback to be the most useful. It was honest, and every change allowed us to get closer to a product that users actually want to use. They wouldn't be giving it unless they thought the product had the potential to be valuable for them!

We use Canva for all our guides, resources, social posts, + video editing! I think the interface is super versatile and intuitive, especially for quick projects.

Criticism! When I do user interviews, I'm really poking around to figure out what wasn't working for them and why. Every feature should bring value!

Yes! We launched ours a little over a month ago after, and approached the strategy a little differently. Instead of directly promoting the product, we give real capital raising advice (which is aligned with the product) to give value while building community/trust - and hint at the product on top of it. We've seen an influx of new waitlist subscribers which is encouraging!
