It makes my life much easier. Lookout, er, Outlook doesn't cut it. Gmail web access and phone app just presents me the email pile. Shortwave tames it so I can quickly triage my email with the benefit of easily applying "rules" to fight the mess. Every now and then I go into gmail proper to do some setting thingee, and I cringe.
