New user here. I joined primarily to launch products and generate backlinks/traffic. But I find myself participating in the community more than I thought I would. It's inspiring to see all the creative new products in the works and read stories from makers of all kinds.
How did you discover Product Hunt, and what made you join the community?

When I'm sick, especially with a fever, I usually don't work much, because I'm wildly inefficient. If I absolutely have to power through, I focus on less challenging tasks and avoid anything too complex. π
Hope you feel better soon and try to get some rest!

A new approach to AI that doesn't require such massive data sets or computational resources! Something more focused, cheaper, greener π²

Very impressive track record! β¨ Quick question about your very first launch. How did it go? And what did you learn that helped future launches succeed?

Agree it's important to reply whenever possible. If I don't have time for an immediate response, I'll acknowledge the comment with an upvote and do my best to circle back later.

I like to focus on process-oriented goals like "work on the UI one hour/day" or "add one blog post/week." Consistent effort, even if it's modest, can add up!

1. Take another look at the user experience--is there anything that could be simplified?
2. If the UX can't be simplified, consider live onboarding sessions and/or step-by-step video tutorials
Hope this helps! π

I use AI extensively for coding, so if it was down for a week, I'd switch gears and focus on marketing. If it was down indefinitely, I'd have to start memorizing syntax again or barter for dev help. π
What if you spent a week without AI tools? How would it affect your work? π€

Take a balanced approach...work in the mornings, family time in the afternoons, get sleep and exercise. I've also scheduled one weekend launch...but the product is all done (and super simple), and my expectations are pretty modest (e.g., backlink)

Remote = fewer interruptions, less struggling to find a quiet space for virtual meetings with clients. Unless the kids are home. π€ͺ

It's usually easier and faster to update existing content than it is to build something new. If content is performing well, it may just need a quick refresh with more recent stats and examples. If content is not performing well, a refresh is an opportunity to test out different titles, hero images, etc.
How often do you revisit and update older content? Do you think itβs worth the time investment?

Good question! β¨ I may upvote a product if...
*The idea is unique or thought-provoking in some way
*It solves an immediate problem I have and I can't wait to use it
*The marketing/branding/UI is great, even if I'm not the target audience
*It seems underrated relative to other products launching at the same time

Copywriting for SEO-oriented blogs--I don't have the time to do it myself or the budget to hire a freelancer! I built a tool that uses Claude Opus via API to generate an outline and then Claude Sonnet to write the post based on the outline. I run the final result through a plagiarism checker and pass it ChatGPT for HTML/CSS formatting based on a template.
I'm also testing Opencord to automate...
