No business support here either. My entire family and their friends are teachers or educators—absolutely no one with a background in business.
I’ve always been involved in countless projects, but I never realized I could use them as leverage or that they actually helped me develop business skills.
It was purely by chance that I had a breakthrough: my godfather’s new partner took just one hour...
Do you have support from your family when you run your business? What do you do if not?

I love products about books :)
I'm reading a lot, and I'm getting most of my recommandations from Tiktok. I'm going to have a closer look to Bookselects.

We are launching Sweego today, a email and SMS solution for developers.
We were really careful to develop a tool that is
🟢respectful of users data
🟢working with chosen partners (in terms of security and values)
🟢with a really reactive team to answer question
🟢effective : we deliver the messages :)

Great initiative! Directories are definitely becoming a key resource as people seek more curated, high-quality results over the noise of traditional search engines.
Keep up the awesome work 👏

Depending on:
- My needs
- The time it takes to switch from the tool I'm currently using
- The features offered in the paid version
For example, I'm currently using Zoho as my webinar solution. The free version was sufficient at first, but as more and more people subscribed, I eventually had to upgrade to the paid version :)
How do you decide whether to pay for a product 💵 or stick with the free version? 🆓

Most of the advice is similar to other CMS platforms (since Google uses the same criteria).
To improve your loading speed:
- Compress images: Use tools like TinyPNG or Shopify’s built-in image compression to reduce image sizes without sacrificing quality.
- Limit apps: Every app adds code, which can slow down the site. Remove any unnecessary apps and rely on Shopify’s built-in features...

[SEO] Google is testing a "Quick View" option to display recipes directly in search results.
Have you heard about this? Here’s a quick rundown:
When you search for a recipe, like chocolate chip cookies, you might notice a “quick view” button. This lets you see the full recipe (ingredients, photos, and step-by-step instructions) without even leaving Google.
According to The Verge, Google is working with a small group of content creators to test out these new recipe features.

What are your targets?
If you're a SaaS, registering on software comparison platforms can bring in some prospects.
If you're looking for something like Product Hunt, we launched on Uneed.best. It’s much smaller, but it’s a good way to test your process before going for PH.
In addition to Product Hunt, do you have any other good product launch strategies?

+1 to @walter_e_strunk's answer :)
I’ll add something:
Create a database with your network contacts.
Ask them to bring you 3 other contacts (email addresses required) and keep it going from there.
It’s best if you have a way to motivate them (maybe a free month?).
In "just" 3 steps, you'll have 130 email addresses.
Based on your unfair advantage, I'll let you figure out how many you can...

1. Encourage your users to share how they use your software/service (e.g., 5% off, 1 month free).
2. Collect these examples on a use cases page (e.g., for an email platform, I would create a page for transactional email UGC, one for marketing UGC, and another for monetization).
3. Share them across channels (social media, email, PH etc.).
4. For top users, ask if they'd be interested in...
