My co-founder and I were spending most of our time at our last jobs building, updating, and sharing spreadsheets. A lot of the time we were making spreadsheets for others who didn't know how and spending a ton of time teaching them how to use what we built.
Eventually we realized that we could invent a new type of tool / spreadsheet that save people like us a ton of time and give non-technical...
How did you come up with the idea for your product or service?

I'm trying to build something around embedding charts to website and notion! It's a spreadsheet app on an endless canvas with the ability to create charts off of the spreadsheets :)

Don't have strategies, but I definitely wish there was better reviews out there. Right now every time I buy a product I do the whole google search of "best ______ reddit" and click like 6 links and read the comments to try and get an unbiased opinion. Maybe there is something there?

From just an observer's perspective I feel like it's Youtube. For example, I feel like people with large followings from all other social platforms eventually try to do Youtube, while the opposite direction isn't as common.
I think there is something about evergreen content and the difficulty of creating long form videos that earns you very loyal followers. Most other social networks in...

I think meetings get a bad rep. There are definitely good vs bad meetings. Good meetings tend to give me more energy and give me creativity for when I go back to building and making things.
So for me, I like having good meetings every day (e.g. user interviews or feedback sessions) in addition to maker time.
One thing that has worked for me is to have back to back calls. If I have a 10 min...

I'm also curious if there are good general Slacks and Discord
For getting early adopter and beta testers, I've found very developer channels to be pretty good. For e.g. if your app is built with React or Javascript, there are a bunch of those channels!

1. Keep your to-do list short to only the most important things. If it's too long, re-prioritize
2. With your short to-do list, always write down the thing you need to do along with a "why" you're doing it.

Split between F2F and in-app messaging...although one thing I like about in-app messaging is that it feels like people are more likely to tell you how they really feel compared to F2F
