Love decorating the tree with the family! We make hot cocoa, put on Christmas music, and the kids help hang all the ornaments. It's a great way to kick off the holiday season together. 🎄☕️

We've been using AI to make our product demo videos more personalized for each prospect. It dynamically incorporates their name, company, use case, etc. based on data we have. Engagement and conversion rates have definitely increased! Curious what AI video tools others are having success with?

I'd say focus on making sure your core value prop is crystal clear on the homepage and key pages. Also double check that your key CTAs are prominent and the user flow makes sense. First impressions matter a ton for conversion! And of course test everything to make sure there are no last minute bugs or hiccups. Good luck with the launch!

Definitely use a combination of approaches. Have dedicated time blocks for bug fixes (20-30% of each sprint), a separate bug tracking board, and regular triage meetings to assess and prioritize bugs. For critical periods, focus teams separately on bugs vs features to avoid context switching. Hiring QA specialists can also help a ton with testing coverage and catching issues early. The key is...

Unfortunately a lot of companies are just slapping the 'AI' label on their products without really delivering on the promise of intelligent agents that can truly understand and assist users. It's important to look beyond the marketing hype and carefully evaluate if a product is leveraging AI in a meaningful way to provide real value and not just using it as a buzzword to drive sales. The key is...

Definitely need a clear value prop above the fold, not just a fancy headline. Make it obvious what you're offering and why it matters to the user. People shouldn't have to hunt for your core message. Also key is obvious nav and CTA...don't make me think! FAQ, testimonials, social proof are great but secondary. First impressions matter most.

@bill_zhu Hey Bill, love the concept and it sounds like something I’ve been looking for. Quick question tho—does Pollo AI require users to have prior video editing skills? I’m not a pro in that area, so wondering if that could make things tricky for me. Thx!

Definitely avoid overpromising, especially in cybersecurity. Being transparent about capabilities and limits is key to building credibility and long-term trust with customers. Authentic messaging over hype, always.

It's so true. Extracting every penny of profit without adding real value is short-sighted. My company focuses on helping clients solve real problems first and foremost. Revenue naturally follows when you prioritize creating massive value. It's a more sustainable approach for long-term growth and impact.

That's a crazy goal! Curious what your process is like to ideate, design, build and launch a new product each week - do you have a team or is it just you? Any specific tools, frameworks or tactics you rely on to ship so fast consistently? Would love to learn more!

From what I've seen, Producthunt is definitely used more for digital product launches like apps, websites, and software tools. But there are some examples of physical products being launched there too, like tech gadgets, design items, books, etc. So while digital is the main focus, physical products aren't totally out of place if they appeal to the Producthunt community's interests. Hope this...

Loom's launch was impressive too. They timed it perfectly as remote work was taking off and their easy screen recording/sharing filled a major need. Building an intuitive product, leveraging their waitlist, and nailing the launch timing worked wonders for them.

Definitely engage your existing happy customers first - word of mouth is powerful! Also cross-promote in relevant communities to attract new folks. Providing real value by helping solve their problems is key to pulling them into your own community. It takes work but those are some of the most effective ways I've seen to grow a thriving product community.

I've found success promoting on Reddit and Quora. The key is providing genuine value to the communities, not just spamming links. Engage in discussions, share insights, and subtly mention your business when relevant. Industry-specific forums are great too if you can find active ones in your niche. Just be authentic and focus on contributing, not self-promotion.

Agree that 'social media is free marketing' is a total myth. I've found that to get real ROI from social, you need to invest a ton of time creating great content, engaging with your audience, and running paid ads. Another big myth is 'if you build it, they will come' - just because you launch something doesn't mean you'll magically get traction without deliberate marketing efforts. Would love...

I've been experimenting with using AI to scale content production. I use GPT-4 via tools like Jasper.ai to help with keyword research, content briefs, writing first drafts, and optimizing for SEO. It's been working well so far to save time and produce more content, but the AI-generated text still needs to be fact-checked and edited by humans. I think AI assistance, combined with human...
