What does community mean to you?
They say build a community. But what does community mean to you? When I gave this a thought I went into debating with myself until I arrived at an answer. I'm sharing with you my unfiltered thoughts, please join the discussion and let me know what you think in the comments. People look at community differently. There's no unified definition. Some marketers think their newsletter is community. Some influencers see their social media as their community. Some group admins think their FB group, WhatsApp group, Discord Server, Telegram Group, Slack Channel is community. Some people think their friend's community is their community. A few folks think their contact list and 1000 close connections are their community. Even a platform like Product Hunt or Indie Hackers can be considered as a community. Not to mention, the entire digital marketing industry / fraternity itself is one community with millions of sub-communities within it. Everyone has their own definition and understanding of community and that's the beauty of communities - every community is different than the other. We are living in interesting times when people with almost no community are waking up with millions backing them overnight. No matter what your idea of community is, just keep going - express your genius, own your craft and let us witness your magic.
