I usually set a timer when I really need to focus. It helps me feel a sense of urgency, and it keeps me from checking my phone, because if I do the timer will shut off. It really helps!

I would learn how to speak as many languages as I could. Right now I only speak English and I have a hard time learning new languages. I would love to be able to communicate with anyone around the world.

Hi Elif! Some of my professional goals are to increase my brand's awareness through ad campaigns, and to increase knowledge of what my company can do to help people by creating explainer videos!

I used to schedule out EVERYTHING, but I found that as I micromanaged myself, I felt more stressed. So mainly now I schedule the most important tasks and leave space on my calendar for the smaller or less immediate tasks. That way, if things need to be moved around, my schedule won't be affected too much. And I'm definitely a paper-and-pen type of person! Physically writing things down helps...

I think if the meetings are on the shorter side, they can really be a productive way to communicate. However, as meetings drag on longer than, say an hour, I believe they can be a waste of time. Especially through losing the interest and focus of attendees.

This was a very thought-provoking question for me, thanks for sharing! I would definitely dream much larger than I currently am, and this made me realize that I want to take those ideas and translate them into my reality.

I'm setting the goal to wake up a little earlier each day so that I can knock more things off of my to-do list!
