Templates are good for starters; I use them 80% of the time while creating content. I use templates to create a vague outline. However, customizing them is a crucial step. The content itself doesn't need to align with the template exactly but starting with a template helps me.

I check PH almost every day since it inspires me to see how many new products and brilliant ideas were launched that day. Of course, there are not-so-creative ideas, and this provides another point of view: what thing should I not do. Also, I think it is good to track the trends via Product Hunt. So, I spare 10-15 minutes in my daily morning routine to take a look on PH.
