I joined the squad 7 months ago. It's a great community of investors, founders and career professionals. The diversity of backgrounds and experience make the events interesting, everyone brings a different perspective. The deal sharing is nice, and hearing the GPs at Hustle discuss deals in an intimate setting is helpful for understanding early stage investment.
It's a paid community, this is...

Pretty similar to Saturday, Wednesday or... any day. "Why we sleep" book took a lot of the dynamism out of my sleeping, which normalized the routine.

I haven't slept in 36hrs since we started our launch, and haven't had a real salary in 3 years.

Silence everything.
Your brain thinks it wants notifications, the same way it thinks it wants nicotine. If you turn them all off, checking your apps (and your inbox) becomes a lot more mundane (because it's more work to check). All off. Not off for a bit.. then you'll start anticipating when they'll be back.

Two words. SUNK COST! :D Especially early, set smaller milestones, get wins quickly. This drives emotional investment, and over time.. the fear of losing what has been contributed will fuel further commitment.
Some people aren't motivated by this loop. They need to be prodded. These people should be fired / let go. You need cofounders, cofounders are self driven, true believers. They won't...
