Hey Ryan, glad to see you here. I read Shape Up a few weeks ago. And we are using some stuff from the book, specially that curved graph that shows progress. It's a great tool to give visibility.
My question:
How much do developers and designers have a say in the "Why" and "What" is going to be built?
I now it's culture dependent, but I got the feeling from the book that Devs and Desginers are...
I'm Ryan, Head of Product Strategy at Basecamp and author of Shape Up. Ask me anything!

@cedarmilazzo1 Hey Cedar, great product idea, have you thought about a google like first fold? With a big question (that reflects the delivered value of the product) and a field to input the website.
What I see is some level of friction between understanding what it does, and trying it out, I think it might be an interest test.

@angrigoryan__ what do you mean by market analysis?
I know of Trends.co and another service that try to inform people on what markets are good to "tap"

I always have a project I'm working on, and right now I'm working alone.
How do I keep myself motivated?
I have three rules I try to keep (and I'm planning on building a product around it):
- Always finding a clear next step
- Blocking out or compromising in my calendar the time I will use to build my product.
- Share with close people what I'm building, so they hold me accountable in some...
How do you keep yourself motivated?

Hey guys, I proudly lunch opt2.me, right now its a no-code app built on Bubble . The idea behind is simple, questions that have only two options, and the crowd decides!
I invite you all to try and have fun deciding on other people lives :)
opt2 is fun choice making
Vote between two options, and help people decide.
I really like how communities evolve around simple but meaningful limited human interactions, I built a product around that. In opt2 you can only pick between... well.... 2 options. How will you choose?

Hello, I’m Gabriel, a brazilian Product Designer. I was frustrated with people always "brainstorming" or trying to "crack solutions out", so I built Metaphors: an ideation tool that works :D
Metaphors is based on two great works of creativity: "brutethink" from Michael Michalko Thinkertoys, and New Metaphors from imaginaries lab (carnegie mellon)

The idea you need, a few thoughts away.
