Just what you need to put up single page or simple websites. You can leave the complex ingredients (forums) back on a master site (sub forum).
Pros: Simple
Cons: Limited

Helpmonks is the perfect concept (charge for a support desk on a per mailbox basis and not a per agent basis). Like HelpScout and Freshdesk, Helpmonks is oriented towards seamless support via email. For us, Helpmonks is just short of the polish necessary to allow us to move from Teamwork Desk. We're watching Helpmonks closely though. Helpmonks is the most affordable quality email support help...

Fieldbook is obscure enough that it offers more privacy than Google Sheets (data directly linked to your Google profile, directly searchable by CIA/NSA, etc). Unfortunately Fieldbook is also Silicon Valley, ex-Googlers and ex-Grouponers so I wouldn't keep anything too private there. US privacy issues limit its usefulness.
Pros: Works basically like a spreadsheet
Cons: Basic functions like sum...

There is no better chat than Rocket.chat. It's like Slack without the silly slap my face attitude and without the irritating purples and deep browns. Cheerful, fast, not too invasive. Low CPU footprint when you have it open. We like HipChat which unlike Slack is priced fairly but love RocketChat's open source customisability and that all our chats are not on an American server somewhere (zero...

Taiga is great for building software but terrible for client facing projects. Teamwork.com has much better permissions structures for a client facing system. But if you are using internal boards with minimal client interaction, Taiga is absolutely fantastic for development. Taiga seems to be going the wrong way in the last few iterations though: WYSIWYG are being shoehorned (think Medium...

There's a lot of things one can do with that $1000. There's been so many graveyards for cash. Bitcoin is still a risk to just crash and burn or be outlawed. Cryptocurrencies are not the sure thing that the creators would like to make us believe. They are a fad and it's probably like Highlander - "there can only be one".

Watch out for these guys. Roshan stole $120 of credits from my account just after payment. This was in his other business Email Verfier App but it's all the same company. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/email-verifier-app

These guys are rip-off artists. If you ever stop your subscription (even the day after paying for it), Email Verifier App steal all your credits. It looks to be designed this way to steal people's money. On top of that the test credits don't really work properly, nor is there prompt support. It looks like the whole segment (email verification) is rotten. Sadly Email Verifier App (unbranded...

Very interesting and lightweight featured voting system unlike the expensive and complicated existing solutions. I'm thrilled to hear de-duplication techniques are in progress. Simple merge of requests by the software owner would be a big help - i.e. we just identify two requests as identical and merge them into one another, with the previous duplicate getting a 301 redirect.
