Totally love this app for all the reasons people have cited (rate / catalog my brews, see what others are drinking / have rated, compare my ratings against the average). But I also really love the fact that for $15 a year or whatever I can get all my data in JSON or other easily consumable formats :) Too cool!

So, I very much wanted to love this game. I love the idea certainly, but I just found the mechanics lacked a little bit. It's just not all that much fun to play unfortunately. It lacks the cathartic staying power of Goat Simulator, for me anyway. Hard to put my finger on precisely why.

This is a great resource for people who need an opportunity to practice solving problems in Python and might not have the opportunity to do so during their day job. it also does a fine job of introducing some of the more advanced aspects of the language through the problems presented. Great stuff!

Yeah this is a really great coding environment. It's made even more useful by Pipsta - https://gist.github.com/pudquick/4116558 which lets you install PIP modules into your iPad's Python environment. Great stuff.

This project has been renamed "Jupyter Notebook" because it now supports embedding Ruby, Python, Julia, and other languages. Definitely amazing stuff!

There are so many 'cross platform' UI solutions that aren't actually cross platform (in that they require a whole mess of platform specific code to actually be useful.) Kivy actually does what it says on the tin, allowing you to build cross platform UI quickly and easily at a very high level of abstraction.
