That's an interesting one, on my experience I would say it takes a lot of trust building, hanging out with those who share same ideas as your product and wherever applicable, just bring your product in to the talk, this does help a bit to get started but not really a quick method, if you want more speed then yeah just spend >$1M on advertising because for some reason people don't prefer to...

Hi Neel, I am a founder too... well sort of I will be incorporating my company by the end of this month, so yeah and no yeah. I have created probably the world's first-ever open-sourced privacy-based social media app, which is a whole lot better than facebook for obvious reasons. The App. Now be warned that the app takes a butt ton of time to load, yes the latency is slow.
