Totally agree that what users need should drive design, not what designers think is cool. I've seen so many overwrought UIs where simpler would be better. Form should follow function! Although making it look amazing doesn't hurt once you nail the UX. ;)

Absolutely, focus on GMB optimization and actively encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews. Consistent, positive reviews are a powerful trust signal for local SEO. Implement a review generation strategy, but avoid review gating or incentivizing, as that violates Google's guidelines. Nail the GMB basics like complete, accurate business info, responding to reviews, and regularly posting...

Depends on the situation. If it's clearly just a generic mass request, I ignore. No message, I check their profile to see if there's a compelling reason to connect. But a personalized message that shows they actually looked at my profile and have a reason to reach out - those I'll usually accept. The personal touch makes all the difference in building real connections.

Last min tweaks: run thru copy again to catch typos, check all links/buttons work, verify domain setup right so not blocked by fb/insta, prep some personalized messages for initial commenters to get convo going & show you care! GL on the launch! 🚀

The most random networking connection I made was at my gym. I struck up a casual conversation with someone on the next treadmill over, and it turned out we were both startup founders. We ended up grabbing coffee later to share ideas and experiences. It just goes to show, you never know who you might meet or where!

Yeah, I've definitely had some doubts about AI recommendations before. Like one time an AI writing assistant suggested a title for my blog post that just didn't quite fit the vibe, you know? I think it's always good to take AI advice with a grain of salt and use your own judgment too. But overall, AI can still be super helpful for generating ideas and refining your work. You just gotta find...
Have you ever found yourself doubting something that AI has advised or recommended?

Try Figma Community! It's a great place to connect with fellow designers, share your work, and get feedback. There are projects, plugins, widgets, and all sorts of cool stuff designers are building there. Can also hit up designer Twitter or Mastodon for the latest convos in the design world.

Depends on your community's needs and preferences. Discord is great for real-time chat, voice, and integrations with lots of other tools. Slack has awesome search, threads, and app integrations. Both are solid for engagement. Maybe try both for a bit and let your community help decide?

Depends on the deal and the product! Some LTDs can be great values if it's something you'll actually use long-term. But beware of FOMO - don't buy stuff you don't need just because it's an LTD. And watch out for janky products or sellers that disappear after the deal. Do your research first!
What is your opinion on lifetime deals ?

Mostly a consumer for sure. I'm on Instagram and TikTok every night before bed scrolling through videos and posts. Sometimes I'll share a funny meme or comment on a friend's pic but that's about it for my content creation haha. Anyone else mostly consuming not creating?

Buffer is great. I also like Hootsuite for scheduling social media posts across multiple platforms from one dashboard. Saves a ton of time vs posting natively on each site. Ahrefs is my go-to for SEO and competitor research.

The Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 and HP Spectre x360 15t are great options for creators. They have powerful CPUs, dedicated graphics, high-res touchscreens, and pen support for graphic design and video editing on the go. The Lenovo Yoga 9i 15 is another solid pick with similar specs.

Hard agree on fields like law and finance being human-centric for the foreseeable future. I'd add anything requiring real empathy and emotional intelligence too - therapists, counselors, caregivers, etc. AI just can't replicate that human touch and connection, ya know? Also creative pursuits like art, music, writing... AI can assist but it lacks the spark of human imagination and lived...

Congrats on the launch, Arjun! CharacterSDK sounds really impressive, especially with the real-time interaction and personalization. I'm curious if it supports non-English languages, especially for customer support. Would love to know more! Good luck!

Congrats on the launch! AI Junction sounds awesome. Love how you've put everything in one place for AI stuff - text, images, video, wow! I do wonder, how often will you add new models? Also, does it support all languages for text generation or mainly English? Really cool idea, looking forward to trying it out!

Maybe auto-crop uploaded pics down to the ideal size for the page? Could speed things up a bit on the back end. Just a thought!

@jj_maxwell this looks awesome and exactly what I've been looking for! Quick question tho - does Double require any prior investing experience to get started? I'm fairly new to this, so wondering if the setup is beginner-friendly or if it might be tricky for someone like me. Thanks!
