Over the last months I've been toying with the idea 🤔 of how our emotions and energy are affected by our work (and vice versa). To test some theories I adapted a Chrome Extension I'd built for another purpose to link to Coda to record my activities. A few iterations later... here it is a complete productivity system from to-do, time tracking, insights dashboard to weekly checkin.

What is the value of the the product inventors contribution?
I'd really appreciate your feedback/opinion on this scenario as it affects some rules I writing for a new platform.
An inventor has taken a year off paid work; performed multiple experiments building different products, finally iterating to a working MVP that shows promise.
The inventor now needs co-founder(s) to bring the product to market.

I'm a coder... so writing is something I would rarely do. I've started to write more. Post more. Comment more. Why did it make me better? I got to talk to customers, understand their needs, how they speak and words they use. How did I acquire it? writing every day.
What skill made you a better maker? And how did you acquire it?
