I used this app during its beta, and the level of care and attention to detail in the user experience is great. The note-taking interface itself is very focused and distraction free, but the app itself has a bunch of powerful customization options.

Playing with synths is fun, reading manuals for MIDI implementation details is not. It's great to have an app that lets me track my crypto holdings without giving up any personal information, etc. (aside from wallet IDs). The built-in calculator is very nice to have for doing quick conversions. Pros: Very nice Windows app; portfolio tracking is extremely useful Cons: None that I can find

Really nice to see an app as highly-regarded as Nebo (awarded 'Best of 2016' by Apple) in the Windows Store. Their integration with Surface Pen functionality is top-notch.

OneLocker is awesome if you prefer native/local password managers. It integrates with Windows Hello and gives you fast access to your most-used entries via its customizable live tile and jump lists. You can import your passwords from your existing manager (or spreadsheet), and optionally sync entries between your devices via OneDrive or Dropbox.

Diarium is a full-featured diary that's beautifully integrated with the OS - it hooks into your system calendar, pulls in Facebook/Instagram/Twitter activity, and optionally syncs across OneDrive. If you're missing Day One, this is the app you need.

TIC-80 is a fantasy computer that lets you create retro games. It includes tools for making maps, sprites, and audio, and coding them up into your own game 'cartridge' that can be shared with other users. It's crazy cool.

Appy Text is probably my most frequently-used app. It's just gorgeous. Its markdown support is perfect and the app really gets out of your way - no annoying ads or distractions. I feel like it actually makes me a better writer.
