I had to have a proper cookie consent preferences widget for https://www.1st-things-1st.com and future projects, and from all the options available decided to create one myself. Then I thought, why shouldn't I make it a generic third-party Django app that other developers could use for their Django websites. And here it is.
🍪 It comes with a pretty good-looking default style that uses the...

I have a family with 2 small kids, my main job from which I live, and a newly bootstrapped startup. A lot of caffeine is consumed to stay focused.
I work at my main job 4 days per week, from home. During those days, I spend 2-3 hours per day with my family. Whenever I have energy, I try to spend some time on my startup too.
On weekends, I spend much time on my startup and more hours with my...

The introductory video is 🔥. Very captivating!
As for the news items, it would be easier to scan through the items in a vertical list view. At least for me.
Good luck with this project!

It's the first of a kind strategic prioritizer that helps you choose the best from:

I like the simplicity of the API and how it works. Do you have any information about browser support? I would like to disable Parallax feature on browsers where the performance is buggy.

Thanks, Allen! I dreamt about a resource like Indie Hackers just before finding it out.
It would be interesting to be able to ask questions in the community in a specific region. Maybe people living in Germany or the European Union would have different experiences or would know region-specific tips about accounting, law, hubs, or other information.

Padlock is a great alternative to 1Password without any bloated functionality. It's simple to use and it does its job very well - saves passwords and other secret credentials in one place.
Pros: Very intuitive, easy to use, and flexible.
Cons: Can't disable some notification popping up.
