I think the biggest benefit is indeed the spotlight you end up by having from the tech community. Everybody is willing to provide feedback and ideas fast and that's a big plus. But even if the launch is not amazing, that does not mean that the product is bad - the community can be great, but if it's not the right audience, then it's normal you are not going to get lots of upvotes. I think it depends on a lot of factors, like how big the businesses are. If you have an early-stage startup, it should be easy and straightforward. Have some surveys to measure experience and impact and keep an eye on written feedback. Engaging with the community is definitely is best way of moving forward, I would say. This is what I'm trying to do now for Jammin'...

Read, experiment, investigate, draw, design - a lot! When I was starting my career, while doing my internship, I would work the 8 hours, I would get home and I would still design projects of mine for another 4/5 hours, and I would read a lot of medium articles while commuting. Almost 10 years ago, I can say that it was worth it :)

Webflow! There's a lot of hype, especially from fellow designers of mine about Framer, but I think Framer is far from being the tool that we want it to be. Webflow is expensive, but a very safe bet :)

It's very likely that the 9-5 job might not like it, but for me the solution is to put a hard-stop on the work at 5 and then focus only on the side hustle. Most companies don't say it (although some do, it happened to me) but "the expectancy is for the employer to work extra hours and show initiative and ownership". You will surely burn a lot of bridges by holding your ground on a right you...

It's look like a really good idea! Would be awesome to have a community not only for the sport I'm more interested about, but also a community that can drive the user to try a different sport. Congrats :)

Part of a team - as a matter of fact we launched NewSub (http://newsub.io) less than a month ago in PH :)

I think motivation is the kick, is what starts everything, but without discipline there is no motivation that can hold and thrive to success. I believe more in discipline.
