I had an internship a few years ago where I thought I would be solving equations on a chalkboard, but ended up having to build out an application in Python instead. Over the years, that first Python experience gave me a much deeper appreciation for backend, and the frontend roles I've done since which were much easier as a result. Any type of coding just feels like fun digital Lego to me...
