Japa means "to leave the country" in pidgin.
I'm a (Kenyan) immigrant living in Nigeria and needed to put together some data to
see which other country would be a good match for me to relocate to.
Going through the pain of immigration for a second time didn't sound appealing. Being a 'data guy' I pulled together some Google sheets - which allowed me to put the problem into a bigger...

This was the beginning of my freelance work as a graphic designer, doing work for my mom and other friends and family later on.
Throughout this time, I've graduated...

I can say most of the time was spent actually thinking around the name rather than the logo, we played around with a few designs on Canva and ended up with something quite decent :). There was a lot of thought around how the name could affect SEO but still be non-generic. Also not being too overly simplistic.
How about you @sergeipetrov ?
How did you come up with your logo? 🐧

Hey @daniel_habib2 this is great! I've also been following guys doing the same and I must say, it's very interesting to see how external input can drive a business.
Sahil (CEO) of Gumroad takes it a step further by making board meetings open and people can contribute. What are your thoughts on open board meetings?
Eager to see the progress, added you on twitter :)
