We made a single post in a Facebook group and had over 2,000 people download the app within two days. We weren't ready for it and it was breaking the app for a bit ☺️

We haven't set a launch date yet, but it will be sometime in August! Keep an eye out for FytFeed launching.

As a cancer researcher, predictive AI/MI models have been used for decades in drug design. It will become more prevalent in drug design given it's new accessibility, but I do not see a massive jump in this area just yet. However, AI will likely be used much more in personalized/individualized medicine. I would guess this is more focused on the individual using AI to help with diagnosing...

This is super hard, especially if you are working a FTE and have a startup (like we do). It ebbs and flows, but we make it a mental priority to keep our physical health in as good as condition as we can. Mental health is a whole other issue though...

Too early to call. But Meta did a nice job with Threads so far. Surprised to see such a polished product on the initial rollout.

We focused on the end user more than the actual business model at the beginning. The end result so far has been users love our platform, but brining along the business side has been a bit more challenging. We have learned a ton from this experience though!

Build out as much as UI as you can before building the actual app. The wireframes can be rough, but they help guide you. Also, make sure you have some type of long-term plan, such as can you take the code with you or learn how to write some yourself as you progress?

I had to teach myself to write code to build our platform FytFeed, and we did it in Flutter (because you get both iOS and Android). It is a cool code base with a lot of options and pretty easy to learn.
