Been using this for a little while, it's helped keep me motivated and taking a photo gives me a moment to pause and take it in - which is appreciated 🙌

2020 has been.. a lot. The Best Year Club wants to help make 2021 the best year ever. The concept is simple, we want to get as many people as possible to do one good deed every month through the whole of 2021. That's is one simple good deed a month.

2020 has been WILD. What has been amazing however has been seeing how generous and kind we can all be to each other during tough times.
I love the idea of doing a good deed a month and sharing this with others to inspire them to do the same. Great work, Phil!

This year I've not bought a single present offline 😱 With how good, fairly priced and reliable delivery is these days, it just takes the stress out of buying gifts!
Do you do your Christmas shopping online or offline?

I use Pinterest when I want inspiration for something specific. e.g. wedding, home diy ideas etc.. I also find myself using Instagram collections for the same purpose, it'll be interesting to see where they take that as it could kill Pinterest for me.
Pinterest ad sales are growing faster than Google and FB. Do you use the site regularly?

I'm all for this, the influence that political ads had on the result of Brexit and the US election on Facebook is obvious to me and no party should be able to target people with their propaganda via advertising.
I'm happy that Twitter have taken this stance, but IMO Facebook is the main problem.
Yesterday Twitter announced they will stop all political advertising globally. What do you think?

I just don't get that bothered by the ads, you can nearly always skip after 5 seconds and the other benefits they offer such as background play, isn't appealing enough to justify the cost. The only benefit I like is saving videos for offline use, but for £11.99/month - nope.

I could get by, in that life would still go on without them. But I rely on them so much (in particular WhatsApp and Instagram) that I voted no. It would take a while for another product to replace either of them for me.

I don't have a strategy per se, but something I've learned is that a most things can wait and I shouldn't beat myself up if I'm enjoying my personal time, especially at the weekend.
Switching off is hard, I used to get anxious if I went out or away for a weekend and didn't take my laptop "just in case anything happened" but it's like anything, if you do it once and realise that the world...
How do you balance work and play at the weekend?
