This will mostly be useful to Europeans. The whole initiative was inspired when BlaBlaCar started charging for what was free all along in my country Croatia. People were frustrated and pretty disappointed. Ride booking was free all along and then BlaBlaCar started charging to book a ride, thus prices went up. Also, it was pretty difficult to exchange phone numbers via messages.
