Would something like this be allowed in a newsletter? Say, you send out a newsletter to your users asking if they'll vote for you. I'm just wondering what the PH guidelines are/how this would be viewed.

The price point is so arbitrarily high. Code this yourself or if you really want it but don't know how you can probably outsource it and get it for the same price as 1-2 months.

I agree with @rrhoover, sometimes you're just too close to really get the one liner down.

There are a number of these floating around, what's good about this one in particular is it looks like it returns you a transparent image so you don't need to settle with whatever backgrounds ones like http://dunnnk.com/ are giving you (not that Dunnnk.com isn't good)

Wow this data is nuts but I'm not really sure how something can go backwards on a timeline so the animations are a bit unintelligible to me, I read CSS3 2D as being introduced in 2009 but then look lower and it was implemented in early 2008. http://i.imgur.com/8Y7dXTr.jpg

This product doesn't really seem like it was built "by" designers. I wouldn't classify myself as one but something that would make this library easier to use and find old images you dragged in here would be making these images basically a full grid of that real estate, instead you're left with tiny thumbnails. I prefer Finder over this.

I love the way Dropbox handles my screenshots, and also camera uploads. I set the Screenshots and Camera Uploads folders to my Dock and whenever I take a new one of either it's easily accessible. Clean it out every couple of months but pretty reliable, especially with the share link immediately generated. Makes for less load on Messages and Email.

It gets rid of Finder as your background, you can't drag and drop anything onto it directly. You also can't switch to Finder by clicking the desktop to quickly open a new finder window, etc. It sounds good but does what it says while taking away much more important features from the OS.
