Also it's easy to get started with, you can basically begin by using Garage Band for free, and when you outgrow it, pay $200 for a massive upgrade to Logic Pro X. Fantastic example of how Open Source projects can be done. This synth is awesome and comparable to similar and expensive commercial products in terms of interface design, configurability and sound. AudioKit rocks!
