I've used forums and groups -- definitely helps to join and actively add value to the community first. Engage with the posts and if you can start building valuable relationships I think you'll find a more positive response than just cold posting :) Better if you know someone in any of those spaces that can support your ask or share it with their network as well.

Your point about productivity is key...for me at least. I keep a task list and prioritise each week & day. I make the most of times I feel productive throughout the day, and take breaks, schedule other activities when I'm not as productive.
Of course this is also dictated by meetings and accounting for overlap with other timezones I work with :)

Depends how early stage you are... do the stuff that doesn't scale early! Things people have already mentioned here - founder sales, cold calling, customer interviews, relationship building etc.
This is how you find out what works, what resonates, and what your customers really want/think/need. Then you can implement more scalable strategies and just keep the things that add value.
