I think you should take a start with a real problem and build a simple mvp to test the waters. Get feedback fast and tweak what is needed. The thing that will take it to the next level is the User Experience.! I also suggest using a 't' japanese name for your app or webapp, because japanese names are most often unique so it bring a cool new vibe.

They're great but learning on it too much might dull critical thinking. Should be used to boost skills, not replace them.
