Soooo today we decided to finally launch our Chrome extension on Product Hunt. We've poured over a 100 hours into improving our product, prepping our marketing site, improving our copy, creating incredible assets etc etc. We were ready to smash this launch. So we scheduled for Thursday, hoping to break into the top 3. Well, Thursday's here and guess who we're competing with Notion, Rows, Superhuman and Tidycal to name a few. It seems like a daunting challenge. Imagine you've been working tirelessly on your product. It's innovative, it's fresh, and you believe it has real potential. But just as you're ready to introduce it to the world on Product Hunt, a tech giant drops a significant update or a new product. Your work, as promising as it is, risks getting overshadowed. This situation raises several questions: 1. How does the presence of big player's releases on the same day impact the visibility and potential success of smaller products? 2. Should makers specifically aim for launch dates that are less likely to coincide with these major releases? Or is there a benefit to launching alongside them? 3.
