I use daily and weekly tasks, then I measure productivity by the number of tasks that I completed. I also make a point of no more than 3 tasks make each list(daily/weekly). This way I'm not putting unrealistic pressure on myself

Everyone here has some great suggestions, but I think your best bet is to leverage the fact that you're at Harvard, start local. Harvard and MIT both have a ton of aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as entrepreneur programs. You should be able to find Harvard's entrepreneur program fairly easily. Go ask the people that run the program if they know anyone that would be a great technical cofounder....

I think they are essentially the same. An MVP doesn't need to be a piece of software, even if that's the ultimate goal. The YC process also assumes that you are an expert in the field of question and that you are 100% solving a problem that you have. For anything else you should talk to customers a ton before writing a single line of code, or producing a tangible product that you can hand to...

I highly suggest Kotlin over Java for Android development. They are both JVM languages, so anything Java can do so can Kotlin. Kotlin is less verbose though and I found I picked it up quite quickly because of how similar the syntax is to Java. Ultimately though, I suggest it because it's the chosen language for Android development and it's what Google suggests.
