I'll be honest, I downloaded this yesterday when @gabe mentioned it in a call. I'm SO tempted to unlock more dogs! Wish I could add or create my own dog/cat, but otherwise super fun and cute. The only odd thing I've noticed is when in Dock Mode and waking up or putting to sleep; the animal will slide across the bottom of the screen. It doesn't impact usability, but a little unexpected.

What are your favorite "fun" apps?
Yesterday @fmerian recommended Googly Eyes from @Sindre Sorhus, which I immediately downloaded! After enjoying the eyes following my cursor around for the day, that got me thinking - what other fun, goofy apps do you all have for your Mac, Chrome, or other devices that don't necessarily serve a purpose other than to bring joy and break the monotony? @Scroll Buddy is another one that comes to...

I'll never not upvote the fun tech products 😤 Would love to see integrations with Spotify/Apple Music/Soundcloud! Kinda like the of windows media player but engageable.

Not to come out the gate immediately negative, but haaaate it. I don't want to talk to a robot on social media 🤷♂️ Especially on LinkedIn - it's gotten BAD. 9 months of unemployment was torture with all the AI outreach from recruiters, engagement farmers, "SEO experts", and it's still ongoing. I miss Instagram, Twitter, and even Tumblr back in the day when it was people sh!t posting and having...

Best, quick features to set up?
Hi! I’m Ben, and I manage community support here at Product Hunt. We recently signed a new contract with @Intercom that has loads of new features, almost to the point that it’s overwhelming 😅We had tried Fin in the past before the recent update (Fin 2.0?), and I’ve been working on updating our help articles to make Fin work better whenever I have time. While Fin is a priority, I’m also...

How to attract the next generation of Makers?
As many of you are likely aware, Product Hunt has always been a place for builders, founders, and tech enthusiasts to discover and share what’s new. But as the startup landscape evolves, so does the next generation of Makers.I’d love to hear your thoughts - how can we make Product Hunt more appealing to first-time founders, students, and emerging Makers? Are there specific challenges they face...

Thinking about San Francisco's notoriously confusing parking signs (+NYC!) and the tourist industry throughout the city, it would be cool to add some sort of "Can I Park Here?" feature with a scanner for signs that compares the date/time with the sign to tell you if you can park there. Then, the app automatically reminds you. This could be great for tourists whose native language may not be the...

Why deregulation and not focusing on making things easier for small to midsize businesses? You mention the latter as a couple points on your site. Focus on preventing the giant monopolies from having too much sway, allowing for more competition and ingenuity, much of which is lacking across tech.I feel like regulations and expectations for businesses are good if they protect the...

@cryptosymposium We were literally talking about this today as a group! We opted for fewer forums to avoid them from becoming echo chambers (and it's admittedly easier to moderate). With smaller, focused forums, we also run the risk of them becoming inactive. Still, we are absolutely looking for other ways people can get involved in a genuine way. You're also 100% welcome to start a discussion...

This feels very early 2000's, and can attest that it was definitely entertaining. Could be cool to add filters, or like, specific topics, such as educational, funny, science, fashion, etc. I like the timer or "anti-addiction" reminder James mentioned too!

So excited for all the product discussions post-launch! We hear all the time about how launching is the biggest thing, and while it certainly is important; connecting with your user base and optimizing your product for them is incredibly valuable in the long run. In comes Forums 😎 Please share feedback! We’re all ears!

This is cool! I feel like we see a lot of tech meant to help improve your livelihood, but something physical that can help with pets, be a guardian, and also the AI integration is all super interesting and makes Ebo X stand out amongst the sea of software and apps. Best of luck! Excited to see what other use cases get cooked up - definitely going to follow along 😄
