If you're using Alfred, I highly recommend installing the "paste image to file" workflow available at https://github.com/barretlee/alf.... With just a simple press of the "cmd + shift + alt + v" shortcut key, any image in your clipboard will be instantly turned into a file and saved onto your desktop. Give it a try and see how much easier it makes your workflow!
