Wondering when do you think is the time to hire your first employee and what is the process!

Hey Product hunters , I have seen Product with highest votes on second/third position Product with more comments in second/third/fourth position realized that sometimes Hunters, Makers point might affect the ranking or sometimes absolutely not. Anyone who has cracked it or can explain it in a better way?
