My lawyer took care of it when we first launched, but that was like 2 years ago π
Definitely need to get it updated, especially with all the new AI stuff we're using on the backend now. Good reminder!

Quality backlinks are definitely key! Focus on getting links from relevant, authoritative sites in your niche. Guest posting on respected blogs can work well. And don't forget about creating your own linkable assets like original research, visuals, tools, etc. that others will want to link to naturally. Avoid sketchy tactics like PBNs or paid links - they can really harm your SEO in the long...

I'd be happy to take a look! One tip - make sure your key value prop and CTA are immediately clear above the fold on your homepage. Many SaaS sites bury this info. Visitors should know exactly what you do and how to sign up within 5 seconds of landing on your site. Feel free to drop your link and I'll provide more specific feedback!

Definitely start by validating your idea and understanding your target market. Talk to potential customers, do market research, analyze your competitors. The insights you gain will be crucial for developing a product people want. Also, be scrappy and keep expenses low initially... bootstrap if you can before seeking outside funding. Cash is king for early stage startups. Finally, never stop...

Fivetran for pulling data from various SaaS tools into a data warehouse. dbt for transformation and modeling once the raw data is loaded. Then good old SQL for analysis across tables.

Webflow is a great Squarespace alternative. Offers more flexibility and control over design without needing to code. Tons of templates too. I switched from Squarespace to Webflow for my site and haven't looked back.

Two of the most courageous decisions for me: 1) Quitting my stable corporate job to start my own company, not knowing if it would succeed but believing in my vision. 2) Later on, pivoting the company in a totally new direction when I saw the market shifting. Scary at the time but both moves worked out for the best!

I've used both Braintree and PayPal for SaaS payment processing and had good experiences. Might also want to check out Recurly or Chargebee which are focused on subscription billing. Would love to hear what others are using besides Stripe!

I think a great hunter definitely helps, but you're right that it's not critical these days. Focus on building an engaged audience, having a stellar landing page, and leveraging your network to get some early momentum and visibility. Then submit to PH yourself and work it! Hunters can give a nice boost but won't make or break a good launch. My 2 cents anyway!
How do I find a good hunter for my upcoming launch?

Agree that retention rate is key - if users are sticking around and consistently engaging, that's a great sign you're solving a real need for them. Would add NPS and organic referral rate too. If users love your product enough to keep using it and tell others about it unprompted, you're def onto something with product-market fit!

Hey Rodrigo, this is such a sweet and unique idea! Honestly, creating a relationship page sounds like something my partner would absolutely love. Quick question though - does it come with any templates, or do you need to design everything from scratch? Thanks and good luck!

What worked for me was just staying positive and focusing on delivering value to users. Remember, a launch is just the beginning of a journey, not the end goal. Oh, and definitely do something fun with the team to burn off that nervous energy - maybe a group meditation session or a nerf gun battle in the office! You got this! πͺπ
How did you handle launch day nerves?

Hey Aryan, I really like the idea behind Utopia, it's definitely something that resonates with me. I'm someone who always has thoughts to share but hesitates to put them out there. Does Utopia offer any features that help users organize their ideas better before sharing? Cuz that's something I struggle with often. Thanks!

Definitely! Getting featured on PH gives you a ton of exposure, traffic boost, and user feedback. Plus the PH community is super engaged so it's a great way to build early buzz and momentum for your product launch. Just make sure your landing page and onboarding is on point to convert all those new visitors into users/customers.

Stripe has an amazing website - super clean design, easy to navigate, and their docs are top notch. Close second would be Figma's site, love how they showcase what you can create with the tool.

Sounds like a great intro to affiliate marketing! The $1 trial makes it super accessible too. Haven't tried it yet, but looks like a good start for anyone wanting to learn. Congrats on the launch!

Sounds like a super handy app! Just explored North a bit, and it's got a lot of potential. I love how it keeps everything organized, especially with the filters for finding places quickly. Can't wait to share it with friends and see what spots they add. Congrats!

Stable Diffusion is pretty impressive and it's open source, so totally free. DALL-E mini is also decent for a free option. For the absolute best results though, Midjourney and DALL-E 2 are worth checking out even though they have costs after a certain number of generations. Curious what others have found to be the best free options?
